First of all: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DeviantART! :party:

Well, what is my personal DeviantART story? I would say, joining the dA Community marked the point were I decided to really become better, improve my art skills and learn. Since than I to some degree developed my own style, and I met some really lovely and supportive people.
I love the inspiring spirit of dA, and I learned a lot from all the different resources dA provides. I wanted to give something back and did my own Tutorial about digital Art, and it still is awesome to see that people fave it and that it seem to help them :)

So I want to say thank you to all the guys out there, who fave and comment on my work, I appreciate to hear your opinions and constructive critic, and of course all watches and fav'n'runs ;) It's so motivating to see that there are people out there who like my work! ^-^

So, starting with the ArtFeature,

I think I'll begin with :iconpupukachoo: because she was one of the first Deviants I found when I came here, and she still is one of my favorite artists, even though her style has changed much over the last years. I like her new and old work of course, but I kinda miss the creepy n' dark in the newer ones, sometimes ^^;
But back than I really was into Hellsing and all the Manga-stuff, so I was especially excited about her Hellsing Fanart!

Another artist that I highly respect is :iconartgerm:. I love his work soo much, and his work is a great inspiration for me :) I also love that he is doing so many livestreams and that he takes much time to interact with his fans and all this stuff. He really helps his fellow artists out there!
Of course he is mostly known for his Comic Fanart, but I also really like his pepper and samurai artwork and would love to see more of it^^

Another very supportive Deviant that I look up to is :iconlady2:
She creates beautiful artwork traditionally, and her Portrait Tutorials are super helpful. Only with help of them I slowly began to improve my skills in painting faces ^^; I tried dozens other Tutorials before, but only these worked for me.
I really like the butterfly theme that is included in most of her work, and she is a very friendly Deviant who always takes the time to answer on comments of her work :) I really appreciate that ^-^

Also, when it comes to inspiring Artists, the first Artist that comes to my mind is :iconsandara:.
She is an amazing storyteller, and I especially loved her Codex Alera Fanarts, when I first found her -btw. the books are pretty cool, you should read them ^.-

There are many more artists that I would love to mention here, but I think this journal entry already is wayyyy too long, sorry for that ^^;
I only will short-mention some more:
:icongestiefeltekatze: is my favorite photographer, I love her Louis Royo inspired work!

:iconizayoi7: is my sister and her critic, while often frustrating, still helps me to improve.

... Also many more, who are just friends or long-time watcher that drop a comment every now and than to let me know that they still enjoy my work ;) Especially thanks to Alexis-Croft and Johndoe1140 for stumbling across my page ages ago :hug:
